It’s flower time…

As Lucy and Taffy were recovering from their ordeals I got a stress fracture.

And one of the new pullets laid her first tiny egg.

So proud!

My friend Marian taught me how to wash a chicken’s butt yesterday. Louise was so grateful she tried to follow her into the house. My hen guru!

Taffy gets her stitches out tomorrow and Lucy is doing well. Marian and Leslie have to leave this morning 😢. Leslie is having her coffee on the back porch as I write and just texted me this video…
