No animals were harmed

Sunday’s newsletter started with some ominous looking cloudscapes. At 4:42 that afternoon I recorded this video. I could not hear the falling trees for the sound of the hail hitting the house.

It took out my electricity when the part of the tree you can see falling at the start of the video caught the line. I was without power until Wednesday.

The ponies were okay and in no time were running and bucking to shake it off.

And finding fresh snacks!

The chicken coop was out of commission until it could be moved and repaired yesterday. My two new pullets must have taken quite a ride, but we’re also unhurt.

Lost one outbuilding and part of the pump house roof, but all in all so very lucky!

Then twenty four hours later Lucy and I went into the closet to wait out tornado warnings. Fortunate again to only get heavy rain.

Today I got to play with needle felting with friends in Eureka Springs. So fun!
