Baby food
and alfalfa, please.

Lucy is slowly coming around from a rough week (chicken baby food a hit) and Taffy had that bum eye removed first thing Friday morning. I’m ready to join them for a round of Omeprazole.

Taffy’s surgery went so smoothly she got to come home the same afternoon. Her best friend Odis came to the clinic to sit with her as she came to and to take her outside to shake off the anesthesia. She still had a lot of walking to do when I got her home.

Kind young Harrison from TSC delivered corral panels so a stall in the barn could be set up as we have rain coming and the incision needs to stay dry. Nate will stay dry with her…my best nurse pony.
Dr. Turchi said there was minimal bleeding and that the little swelling is blood that her body will absorb over the next days. Stitches come out in a couple of weeks.
But time for some grazing now.
And rest for Lucy.
Love,
Dell

Oh, you had "that" week. Glad you are all on the mend. You aren't the only person who eyeballs the omeprazole.
My, nurse Dell keeps busy with her brood!!
All the best healing going on. And a break in the rain with some heat tuning on. Thankfully breeze too…
