A brief respite

Yesterday we got a significant break in the heat in northwest Arkansas. I did some much needed mowing. In the evening I was able to relax outdoors for a long time, which has been too uncomfortable lately.

The maple tree has outgrown its bamboo stake.

The new pullets are lovely egg laying hens now.

Eye candy.

A bee on the mountain mint.

Zinnias in the kitchen.

A bedtime story.

And a beautiful Sunday morning.
